How to upgrade Huawei C8600 from 2.1 to 2.2

Although the procedure is safe for most users, use it at your own risk.

1. Download the Huawei C8600 Froyo ROM from the given links (It is hot-linked and you don't need premium account to download with download manager)

2. Extract the zip file and you will get "dload" folder and pdf file in chinese language.

3. Copy "dload" folder to your sd card.

4. Power off your device.

5. Press Hang-up button, Volume-up button and then power button. Keep pressing until you get updating.

Done!

You have successfully updated to 2.2.1 Froyo ROM for you C8600 and then you can taste the features of froyo especially Portable hotspot and app2sd features.
